NEW ECONOMY WORLD establishes the Official Delegation of Casa dos Açores de Minas Gerais (CAMG) in mainland.

On April 21st, in Ponta Delgada, a cooperation agreement was signed toize the establishment of the Official Delegation of the Casa dos Açores de Minas Gerais Continental Portugal. The protocol was signed by Claudio Luciano Valença Motta, President of the Casa dos Açores de Minas Gerais, along with representatives from NEW – New Economy World, Alexandre Brodheim and Pedro Gouveia, and received institutional support from Paulo Estêvão, the Regional Secretary for Parliamentary Affairs and Communities.

The initiative aims to create a representative structure to promote the activities of the Minas Gerais in mainland Portugal, strengthening cultural, institutional, and economic ties between Minas Gerais, the Azores, and Continental Portugal. Regarding the benefits that NEW – Economy World can bring by establishing these protocols, Alexandre Broheim and Pedro Gouveia emphasize that this type of allows for the creation of effective bridges between institutions, communities, and territories, turning cultural and identity ties into concrete collaboration opportunities.

NEW, the formalization of the Official Delegation of the Casa dos Açores de Minas Gerais Continental Portugal signifies more than just an institutional act. It represents a work platform capable of facilitating contacts promoting joint initiatives, and bringing the Azorean diaspora closer to public, private, cultural, and academic entities Portugal. Brodheim and Gouveia highlight that NEW’s intervention is on the ability to structure cooperation networks, identify opportunities, and create conditions for cultural, economic, social, and institutional projects to gain scale and continuity.
